Ongoing Injury Treatment:
Injuries may require treatment at regular intervals over a certain period of time, depending on the injury and its severity. Ultrasound therapy, Pulsed Electro Magnetic Therapy or Phototherapy are frequently used to treat common injuries such as tendon, ligament and muscle damage or ruptures, wounds and skin conditions. The number of visits will depend on the severity of the injury and in most instances if your horse is insured these costs may be covered by your insurance company.

Please be aware that I will need to gain permission from your vet before treating your animal, this can take a few days so it is advisable to book in plenty of time when possible.
I advise that animals are not exercised or competed 24-48hrs after a physiotherapy treatment.
Please take this into consideration when you are booking your appointment.
All treatments are carried out after retaining veterinary consent to treat. This procedure is part of The Veterinary Surgery (Exemption) Order 1962, which states "all physiotherapy treatment undertaken must be under veterinary referral". DO NOT let anyone treat your animals without veterinary consent.
